It was actually super helpful to see what everyone else liked to take along, so I thought it might be nice to share my list with you.

That was fun too..I honestly don’t think the overall look is that different from “real” nail head trim.

I’m pretty smitten with it, even if it is a little crooked in places.Remember how I said I was going for a more relaxed look?Let’s say the crookedness is on purpose too..

Overall a pretty successful little afternoon experiment, I’d say!Do you remember when we all started hanging plates on our walls? Not like 100 years ago, but I mean just a few years ago when it became a whole new trend.

It opened up a whole new world of possibility for wall decor and added so much fun color and dimension to our living spaces.

I still love plates on walls, maybe a little too much, but I think baskets on walls needs to be the next big thing.Best to stick to just a few sprigs of this one, I think..

These certainly aren’t the flowers for a big fancy shmancy table setting. If you have an old farmhouse in slight disrepair like mine though, they’re free, and sometimes they’re just the right thing!.

Do you ever find random weed flowers and use them inside?Today’s idea is a quick and simple one, and I like that, so I thought you might too.. I’ve been meaning to do this for a month or two, ever since I saw some different topiary shapes they were selling in the Pottery Barn catalogue..I picked myself up a little $1.97 ivy from Walmart and 5.8 seconds later, I had this..
